- Never move or leave candles unattended while burning.
 - Some of our candles are decorated with a raffia bow - remove this prior to use.
 - Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch to prevent smoking mushrooming. Re-trim the wick before every use.
 - Burn in a draft free area clear of combustible material such as curtains, books, baskets, etc.
 - Candles should be spaced apart while lit to prevent uneven burning.
 - Burn out of reach of children and pets.
 - Burn tealights in a well ventilated area in an appropriate holder which allows air to circulate well.
 - Keep the burn pool clean; never throw matches into the candle.
 - Extremes of heat and cold should be avoided.
 
- Keep candles out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
 - Always place candles on or in a non-combustible, heat-resistant base set on a flat surface.
 - Ensure candles are burned in an upright position.
 - Candles may be cleaned by washing them gently in cool water. Allow to air dry before use.
 - Recommended maximum burn time is 3-4 hours
 - Always snuff out your flame, never blow it.
 - Do not burn a candle all the way to the end; Leave no less than a ¼ inch of wax in the bottom.
 - To get a clean and even burn, burn your candle until the entire surface is liquid, each time. A good rule is to burn 30 minutes for each inch of diameter i.e 60-75 mins for our small jar and 90-115 mins for our large.
